Journey to Jaffna – Nallur Temple, Nagadeep Hindu Temple, city tour of Jaffna, Portuguese harbour

After breakfast you will visit Thiruketheeshwaram Shiva Kovil, then we set off on a scenic drive to Jaffna in northern Sri Lanka. On arrival we visit Naguleswaram Temple and Nallur Temple, a historic Hindu temple known for its ornate architecture and religious significance. After this we explore Nagadeep Hindu Temple and take a city tour of Jaffna, including a visit to the Portuguese harbour that reflects the region’s colonial heritage. After a day full of experiences we overnight in Jaffna.

Sigiriya

Journey to Trincomalee – Koneshwaram Temple, Shankari Temple – overnight in Sigiriya

Today we travel to Trincomalee, a coastal town known for its beautiful beaches and sacred sites. First stop is Koneshwaram Temple, perched on a cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean. We then visit Shankari Temple, dedicated to the goddess Parvati. After these spiritual visits we continue to Sigiriya for an overnight stay, where you can rest and recharge.

Journey to Kandy – Temple of the Tooth, city tour of Kandy, traditional dance performance

Temple of the Tooth in Kandy

In the morning we continue to Kandy, Sri Lanka’s cultural capital. First stop is the Temple of the Tooth, a World Heritage Site and one of the most sacred Buddhist temples in the world. We then take a city tour of Kandy, visiting local markets and cultural landmarks. In the evening you will enjoy a traditional dance performance that reflects Sri Lanka’s vibrant heritage. Overnight in Kandy.

Nuwara Eliya

Journey to Nuwara Eliya – Ramboda Falls, Hanuman Temple, Seetha Amman Temple, Hakgala Botanical Garden, Ashok Vatika

After breakfast we travel to Nuwara Eliya, also known as "Little England" for its cool climate and scenic charm. En route we visit Ramboda Falls and Hanuman Temple. We then explore Seetha Amman Temple, the Hakgala Botanical Garden and Ashok Vatika, significant sites associated with the Ramayana epic. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

Tissamaharama

Journey to Ella – Ravana Falls, Kadiragamam Temple

Today we travel to Ella, a charming hill town surrounded by dramatic scenery. En route we visit Ravana Falls, a powerful waterfall with mythological connections. In the evening we visit Kadiragamam Temple, another sacred site linked to the Ramayana narrative. Overnight in Tissamaharama.

Day7

Journey to Colombo – city tour and shopping

After breakfast we travel to Colombo, Sri Lanka’s lively capital. On arrival we take a city tour and explore the city’s bustling markets, colonial architecture and modern attractions. You will also have the opportunity to shop and buy souvenirs. In the evening we drive you to the airport for your departing flight, marking the end of your memorable Ramayana tour in Sri Lanka.
