NEGOMBO - PINNAWALA - DAMBULLA

After a good breakfast you travel to the elephant orphanage in Pinnawala, where you will meet the majestic elephants, a symbol of Sri Lanka. Here you have the opportunity to feed and bathe these gentle giants in the nearby river and visit the elephant museum.

You then continue to Dambulla to visit the impressive Golden Cave Temple, famed for its ancient Buddhist murals and statues.

Optional: Treat yourself to a restorative full-body Ayurvedic treatment.

Afterwards check in at your hotel in Dambulla and relax in tranquil surroundings.

SIGIRIYA - MINNERIYA - DAMBULLA

After breakfast set out on an exciting climb of the iconic Sigiriya rock fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with breathtaking views over the countryside and archaeological remains.

Later explore Minneriya National Park on a jeep safari, where you can see herds of elephants in their natural environment.

Kandy

DAMBULLA - MATALE - KANDY

After breakfast travel to Kandy via a spice garden in Matale, where you will be greeted by the scent of spices and herbs. Take the opportunity to try herbal tea and buy fresh spices.

In Kandy a city tour awaits with the scenic road above the lake, the market square, the arts and crafts centre and the famous Temple of the Tooth.

In the evening enjoy a performance of traditional Kandy dances and an impressive fire display.

Day5

KANDY - NUWARA ELIYA

After breakfast visit the picturesque Royal Botanic Gardens in Peradeniya, home to a wide variety of plant species.

You then continue to Nuwara Eliya, known as "Little England", and admire the majestic mountains, waterfalls and tea plantations. Visit a tea factory to learn more about tea production.

NUWARA ELIYA - ELLA

After breakfast an unforgettable train journey awaits from Nanu Oya to Ella, through spectacular landscapes and classic vistas.

On arrival in Ella you can choose optional activities, such as an exhilarating mega zipline.

Check in at your hotel in Ella, dinner and a relaxing overnight stay. (HB)

ELLA - GALLE - BEACH STAY

After breakfast travel to the historic Dutch fort in Galle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a rich colonial history.

Then continue to the beach for well-deserved relaxation and enjoy the peaceful coastal atmosphere.

Relax on the beach, enjoy the sun and take part in optional leisure activities.
