Stage 1
Your adventure begins when you land at Bandaranaike International Airport. Meet a representative from Sri Lanka Specialisten who will warmly welcome you and escort you to the vehicle. You then continue to Anuradhapura. This historic city on Sri Lanka's north-central plains bears traces of centuries of history. Enjoy dinner and overnight at your hotel in Anuradhapura.
After a hearty breakfast you set out on a cultural tour. Explore Polonnaruwa, an ancient city with a rich heritage. In the evening head to Minneriya National Park for an exciting jeep safari and admire the wildlife in its natural habitat. The day ends with a transfer to your hotel in Dambulla, where you will have dinner and spend the night.
The day begins with a journey to Sigiriya, home of the iconic 5th-century rock fortress. Climb Sigiriya's rock fortress and discover its historic highlights. Later visit the cave temple in Dambulla, known for its caves and Buddhist murals. The journey then continues to Kandy with a stop at a spice garden in Matale. Later in the afternoon enjoy a city tour of Kandy's main sights. Check in at your hotel in Kandy, where you will have dinner and overnight.
Stage 2
After breakfast visit the Temple of the Tooth and experience the spiritual atmosphere surrounding this revered relic. The journey then continues to Nuwara Eliya, often called "Little England". Visit a tea plantation and a tea factory and delve into the art of tea production. Check in at your hotel in Nuwara Eliya, where you will have dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.
After breakfast take the train from Nanu Oya railway station to Ella on a scenic route. Enjoy magnificent landscapes, including the Ella Gap and the Ravana Ella Falls. Check in at your hotel in Ella for dinner and overnight.
Start the day with a visit to Little Adam's Peak, a beautiful viewpoint with breathtaking views. Later in the afternoon travel on to Yala and embark on an exciting jeep safari in Yala National Park. Experience the rich wildlife and natural beauty. Return to your hotel in Yala for a good dinner and a restful overnight stay.
Stage 3
After breakfast travel to the Dutch Fort in Galle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the historic buildings and take in the rich history. Check in at your hotel in Galle for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.
Stage 4
Head out early in the morning for whale watching in Mirissa. Afterwards visit a turtle hatchery in Bentota. Conclude your unforgettable journey with a transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for your departing flight. Cherish the memories of your fantastic experience in Sri Lanka.
